We found ourselves travelling down to the bottom right hand corner of England to collect a certain item which presented us with the opportunity to hit another high spot. So off we set off to Kent and Betsom Hill at 823 feet above sea level via Honey Hill and Whitstable. It was a muggy day, naturally Google maps sent us to the middle of a field which is always fun to collect the item in question. A dip in the ginger beer coloured sea called, even George took his crocs off and had a paddle on the pebbley beach which was rapidly followed by a Mr Whippy which was rapidly followed by a minor detour on the way home.
I'd like to describe the highest point in garden of England as scenic and inspiring. I can't, its not. Technically the highest point is in someone's garden so that makes it awkward. Driving to it through woods and up steep narrow little lanes was a joy. As was leaving. I'll leave you with some images of our visit to the 40th highest point in England and Wales and the 38th we have conquered.
